This event has passed and it was
highly successful. There was a large
crowd, great speakers and a lot of
horn honking by cars driving by!
Together we can make our voices
heard and our concerns felt. as we
head into the election season we will
be holding many of these events.
They are peaceful and pleasant.
Please consider joining us next time.
If you have never done anything like
this before, you will find it fun and
enjoyable
Good Trouble Lives On.
August 6 @ 6:30 pm: Our next general meeting. Visitors are welcome.
Please join us in listening to Mr. Mike Teasdale, who is running for re-election to the Ventura County
Board of Education Trustees. Before entering public service, Mike enjoyed a diverse career spanning
education, the arts, business, and organizational leadership. He began his career as a high school
teacher in Orange County and then spent three years teaching in France, followed by six years teaching
acting and theater across Europe. In 1984 he directed The Human Voice by Jean Cocteau, and received
the award for Best Foreign Language Play. First elected in 2018, Mike has advocated for additional
resources and funding for students with disabilities and young people in juvenile detention. He is, and has been, particularly
committed to ensuring that incarcerated youth have access to career technical education and meaningful opportunities to
prepare for successful lives after release.
Please join us to mingle and socialize with like-minded people and make new friends. Listen to some of
the club’s upcoming activities and challenges. Snacks will be provided.
